The first of its kind, our new concept store provides kids a place where they can design, build, and race their very own remote-controlled car in a fun environment where parents can feel just as good about the experience as their children.
The store offers a full on/off-road test-drive track, plus a showroom and assembly area where children can choose their own car, select their own body, colors, decals and tires, and then build it with the help of our friendly and capable staff. In addition to their own car, each child walks out of the experience as an owner – with a driver’s license, title to his vehicle, and full membership to a club for kids that like to race vehicles with their friends in and outside of the Raceline Motorworks store. Best of all, each young owner gets to test drive his vehicle on one of the in-store tracks before taking the new ride home.
Founders Blake Harper, David Domm and Rocky Jones launched Raceline Motorworks in 2005 with the goal of creating a totally personalized and interactive environment for kids. Witnessing a need for something different and cool for boys to do, they started to think back to their childhood roots. While growing up in Chicago, each had a passion for remote control cars. That passion quickly grew into a vision…a vision that has become Raceline Motorworks.
Raceline Motorworks plans to rollout multiple stores throughout Chicagoland, the Midwest, and other regions of the US in the coming years. The company headquarters are based in Chicago.
