What is “Design™.  Build™.  Race™.”?
Design.  Build.  Race.  is our company motto and describes the fun-filled experience you will have as soon as you enter our store.  We are the only racing experience that provides you the opportunity to design your own vehicle, build and assemble it in our Racers Pit Area and then race it on our in-store race track.  At Raceline Motorworks, the driver’s seat is finally yours!

How do I customize my car?
Raceline offers you the option of selecting from 10 different vehicle lines.  Once you decide on a vehicle, the options to customize and personalize your car are endless!   Most of the car lines offer up to 5 different body styles with 3 different colors for each body.  You can also select up to 12 different tire/wheel combinations and 3 different decal sets that put the finishing personal touches on your vehicle.    

Do you really have a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in the store?
The Raceline DMV is the first of its kind that actually makes getting a driver’s license and registration fun!  Once you have designed you racecar in our Showroom, have a seat at the DMV to get your official Raceline Driver’s License.  Registration is a snap.  Enter in some basic information, choose from cool fonts and colors and smile for the camera – your driver’s license will be printed and delivered within minutes! 

Is it true I can race with my friends in the store?
Whether you are with a birthday party or come in by yourself for some friendly competition, as soon as you purchase your customized Raceline vehicle, you get to take it out on the Raceline Speedway track for a test drive.  Hit the off-road obstacle course for some rumblin’ and tumblin’ or compete in the on-road street races with other racers.  You decide.  There’s no limit to the possibilities…and there’s no speed limit either!

Can I come back and race my car on the track?
As soon as you purchase your first ride at Raceline, you’re part of our elite Racers Club.  This means you can come back and add on cool options to your car or truck or schedule additional time on our track to fine tune your racing skills.  It’s your time to tear it up! 

Can I race my own R/C car at Raceline?
As long as you purchased your vehicle at Raceline, you may race it on the Speedway track.  Because our cars are specially designed and modified not to interfere with each other, we unfortunately cannot allow non-Raceline vehicles on the race track. 

How do I become a member of the Race Club?
Become one of our elite racers by joining the Raceline Motorworks Racers Club.  As a member, you’ll receive special alerts of upcoming events and discounts on select merchandise only available to our racing members.  Feel free to visit our store or contact one of our racing crew for more details..  We’re always excited to talk to future Raceline racing team members! 

Can I have my birthday party at Raceline Motorworks?
Raceline Motorworks is the perfect place to have your next birthday party.  We offer a variety of different party packages to suit everyone’s tastes.  Visit our Birthday Party section on our website or contact a Raceline Crew Member for more information. 

Where are you located? 
Raceline Motorworks is located in Westfield’s Hawthorn Mall, situated at the corner of Route 60 and Milwaukee Avenue in Vernon Hills, IL.  The store is located on the lower level, next to Marshall Field’s.
